Terrible Role Models

I am sure everyone has attempted the ole phrase of do it yourself projects. 😂 it sometimes challenging, frustrating, and outright stupid if it doesn’t work. This weekend I had been putting off building shelves, not because I can’t, it is because I have been pushing this project off like for the past 3 weeks. And it’s not because my spouse wants the shelves, well….😂 it called give and take people in a marriage. It’s an art form! LOL! I went to breakfast, had my cheat meal…pancakes. It was amazing, and then the spouse is like we need to stop and get the materials for the shelves that you told me you would build 3 weeks ago. I was like ah-ha… that word bought me and extra 30 seconds. I tried to make excuses like “ I’m hungover”, I have college homework, my stomach hurts I need to shit, I have to go to work, golfing with my boss is already planned, I have to fold laundry, I was pulling out all the the stops…Lmao!

I built the shelves and it always end ups with my spouse mentioning “that nots what I envisioned” my thoughts is “cool story” DIY I ended up building the shelves. LOL! They looked good, the spouse is happy. Until next time, TRM.
